Cargo van load trips guide

When a cargo van is the right fit, what to send us, what fits, and how per-mile pricing works.

How it works

  1. Send lane, pickup and delivery dates, dimensions, weight and piece count.
  2. We confirm fit and availability and send a rate.
  3. Loading: pieces are secured and counted, with photos if you want them.
  4. Direct, dedicated trip with no cross-docking.
  5. Delivery with proof of delivery.

What to prepare

  • Pickup and delivery addresses and appointment times
  • Dimensions, weight and pallet or piece count
  • Dock or liftgate needs (a cargo van has no liftgate)
  • Any special handling or paperwork (BOL, references)

What we carry

  • Partial loads, pallets, crates and boxed freight that fit a cargo van
  • Urgent parts and time-critical shipments
  • Trade-show and event materials
  • Regional New England lanes (interstate launching soon)

What we don't carry

  • Placarded hazmat
  • Loads over the van's weight or size limits
  • Interstate for-hire trips until that service launches

How pricing works

Load trips are priced per mile with a minimum. Longer trips can price lower per mile. One-way runs far from Rhode Island may include an empty-return charge unless a return load is booked. Tolls are itemized. We use the same cost-per-mile method as our free calculator.

Rates on request. Every quote is built from distance, timing, stops and handling, and confirmed before pickup.
